If Jazz miss out on the playoffs and keep their pick.. would you select Lamb or Rivers assuming they are both available?
 
Tuff choice for me. Lamb has all the athleticism and length. But I take Rivers and don't look back. Kid is a stud with great pedigree.
 
I am assuming you are talking about Jeremy Lamb from UConn, but there are two Lambs that could go in the middle of the first round. I've seen Jeremy Lamb anywhere from about 5th to 14th, but I've also seen Doron Lamb in the teens on some mock drafts so far too. Personally, I'd take Rivers over either Lamb.
 
I would take both.

But if I have to choose its Lamb.

Jeremy Lamb is going to be good guys . Mark my words.

He has nice length and yes, great athleticism.

It's probably close but I think lamb has better athleticism than Rivers

Rivers is OJ Mayo or Marcus Thornton at best, so getting him 8-10 could be a good and safe bet. Lamb I think has a higher ceiling, but will he reach it? He is taller, longer, and can play more within a system than Rivers. I don't think he ceased his opprtunity this season at UCONN though as the true leader of the team. With him and Drummond, they should have done better. Lamb could be Corey Brewer at worst or Stephen Jackson at best. Will Utah want to play it safe or gamble? I like to gamble.
 
Someone asked about Lambs length and athleticism. Length is very good, athleticism is above average, but not elite.
 
I thought Lamb would have a better year. He has had some dunks that actually made me get off my couch. The guy has amazing athleticism and length.
