So everyone knows, my problem with Lamb is the same I have with QMiller, PJ3, and Drummond. I'm not questioning the ability, but the desire.

Fair enough. He DID average almost 18ppg as a sophomore, though...so I'd say that's enough to show that he at least has more desire than the others you mentioned.

do we really need a SG ?
We have burks and hayward who is actually better at sg than sf

My opinion he is just not that comfortable being the alpha or first option guy. We saw him flourish next to Kemba Walker in a Robin role. We know he can contribute without a high usage rate by just hitting mid range and three pointers. Rivers game is not as conducive to this role, he needs the rock most of the time to be his best, and from what I've seen his game doesn't justify giving him the keys to the offense.

No but you always take best player available.

Need is a terrible evaluator.

Plus Lamb has homerun potential. He will be a steal like Burks late in the lottery. I promise you.

We need another wing, and while a SF would be more ideal, there aren't any worth taking at the end of the lottery, so we'll have to settle for a SG. Unless there's clearly a better player available who plays another position, but I don't think there will be.

We need a PG if there is one. We are not going to get a sure fire win if our pick stinks and we lose the GS pick, but maybe we can get Lillard or Marshall ... or Machado in the second and see if that works out.

I cannot see KOC drafting players that don't exhibit the desire. I just can't. Hayward was drafted on his competitiveness and so was Kanter.

I don't know anything about this draft class. For what ever reason I just haven't been into draft prospects like I usually am. I won't give anyone any advice aside from avoiding players that are already anointing themselves.

I don't know what it is, I just am not into this draft.

Like Brown Note, I personally know jack crap about this class and so (sorry for bringing his name up again) but earlier this week Fran Fraschilla predicted Lamb as a sleeper and that he'll move up higher, like 5-8 range.
Not that I'm saying who'd I'd like but just sharing info I've heard.

Rivers = Jason Terry
Lamb = CJ Miles (best case) Kareem Rush (worst case)

How is this even a question?

Are you nuts? Lamb is already better then CJ miles. Dude is a athletic freak who can shoot and will be a star one day. Scottie Pippen with better offense... that's his best case scenario.
You right that it should not be even a question.... Lamb all the way.

Perplexing.
