What's new

Lance Stephenson is really in the dog house.

Sounds like he could be had for the asking. Only one year left on his contract, and the guy has got game if there's a coach who could get him to respond. Or would he be a cancer, a headache? Imagine, though, if he came to the Jazz and played up to his former level. We certainly could afford it, but would we be playing with fire? Swap Trey for him, maybe even get another second rounder? Just a spontaneous idea, haven't really thought it out or tried to learn what really is Stephenson's problem.

His shooting percentage isn't great and his scoring average is down.

He's not worth it.

Does Kelly Dwyer think he's Robert Smith or something? What the **** is up with that photo?

I mean Lance has been very polarizing. This time though if he was pissed he kept it quiet and at least he says all the right things right now.

Every booger eater that said we should sign Lance instead of Hayward, and there were many, should have to apologize in this thread.

Not I.
I was always a Stephenson hater.

I was one of the people who wanted ariza at 8 or 9 mil instead of Hayward at the max.
I was wrong about that too.
Sorry Hayward

I was always solidly on the Hayward bandwagon and got so much crap from the Lance people. Lance is terrible at basketball and might be an even worse teammate. So glad we brought back Hayward.

He signed a 3-year deal this past year, he has 2 years left.

The Hornets won't trade him. They would have to pay another team to take him (give away a decently talented rookie or a pick) which they won't do cuz it's only 2 more years on a contract that isn't financially wrecking.

He is really being extremely professional in what he is saying too. So give him credit for that.

This was me. Never liked Lance. But did not believe in Hayward at the max. I wanted Chandler Parsons. I suppose I was also wrong because I would not trade Hayward for Parsons now.

well glad im not a GM.

i thought Lance was a better player......WOMP WOMP WOMP.

ive been eating my crow.

1. And this is what the Jazz board has devolved into: Public shaming, self congratulating, and little else.

2. With that said, I couldn't have been more wrong about Gordo v. Lance last summer. Gordo's pull-up game started coming around toward the end of last season, but I really didn't think he'd show nearly as much additional progress this season, or learn how to use the extra bulk/strength (which he put on before last season).
