Lauri an all-star

Markkanen has reached another level - the Michael Jordan level.

In 1988 the NBA All Star game was held in Chicago. Uhhh, guess who magically made the All Star game? Yup, Jordan, a guy who played in Chicago. So now Markkanen - a Utah player - makes the All Star game being played in Utah. Jordan in 1988 Chicago and now Markkanen in 2023 Utah. Charity selections.

Thanks to telling our interest level was high.
And now could you please put your crack pipe down and STOP SMOKING a weed you're too high already and GET THE HELL OUT of here. PS have a nice weekend.

Congrats Lauri.
I had ''thought'' of that Jazz regular season record would turn against Lauri's allstar selection but it didn't and that's good.
This also means that Ainge and Zanik has 2 years time to get Jazz at least playoff team.

The decision making for the future should start now not this summer.
Kessler and Lauri are the clear keepers but how the rest of team.
Time to get work mr Ainge 2 years is not much.

I love that one of the biggest reasons thrown around that Smith didn't want to blow it up was for us to have an hometown All-Star for the games this year. Odds were high we would only have gotten one all-star anyways if we kept both Donny and Gobert (it is hard to get 2, Memphis, Boston, and Milwaukee were the only teams this year).

Anyways, will the voting breakdown for reserves be released? I am interested to see how far off AD, Ant, Harden, Trae, etc were from making it

In this article Lauri is ahead of Donovan on their MVP ladder. Hope ole Donny sees it.

Also leads him in PER, PIE, WAR, On/Off, total Win Shares, WS/48 and pretty much every advanced stat. Also beat him by 2.4 PPG in January despite Dons 71 and 46 games.

Don still better, but Lauri is so much more versatile and efficient my money is on our current guy.

LeBron needs some IQ and coolness in his team.

He has only 1 pick for that, and if Giannis goes first, he won't let LeBron make that pick. :P

It doesn't matter. Really.

If Lauri leads Mitchell in those categories, what makes mitchell better than Lauri? mitchell averages 27 ppg to Lauri's 25 ppg, but Lauri is WAY more efficient, better three point shooter, better at the rim, better rebounder, better defender. mitchell is a better playmaker - that's about it. but when Lauri leads in TS%, PER, all the win share stats, WAR, on/off, etc, i'm not sure why we should conclude mitchell is better.

Fair point. My best argument is just eyeball test.. and the fact that this would be the first time ever I'm too little of a homer.

I go the other way and smoke crack from a used bong. Don't even change the water or anything. Add a little dry ice though.
Try using super-chilled vodka, like, below the freezing point of water. Smoothest hits you'll ever take.

Uh, that's with pot. I assume it would work for crack, but I couldn't tell you for sure.

I live in Oregon, BTW.

Lol. That is the better move no doubt. Ah to be young again. I say that but know now that if I could go back I would do it all different and never touch crap like crack.
