Layoff Advice

I think Quin is over analyzing things about my facebook. First, it's on private. Second, I haven't bashed/named the company I worked for beforehand (in fact my boss liked my status where I posted I was laid off and actively looking for a job.) Third, I posted I had an interview for a job I was really excited about. And lastly, I posted I got the job.

I know, what a dumb thing to do. I told friends/family a little about my personal life. I need a talk from Quinshair now.

That's how it starts. First it's innocuous comments about your daily life, next thing you're threatening to blow up an airport and the NSA is storming your house in riot gear. Or you're posting pics you took of your boss under the men's room stall and commenting on his Wang size. It happens bro.

Just for the record, Archie is a relatively benign Facebook poster. I was just thinking of how even the most minute of comments can be misconstrued and lead to bad things happening though. That's all.

Log, archie, and quin are facebook buddies?

I don't facebook at all. Got burned and will never re-ignite that fire.

I'm only friends with Archie and Farside. Nobody else likes me.

We were friends and then you called me gay or some **** a couple times. A pretty obvious faux pas given the forum and between having gay friends and family members, and having to uphold a reputation of integrity because of my job as a teacher, I had to cut you loose.

I have never been laid off. Way too important to be tossed aside like this. Probably because i work so hard and my good looks are free pr for them.
Actually, if I got fired I would have ten job recruiters blowing up my phone in seconds.

You're out of character.

Technically, this is my fourth week on the job after 2 weeks training out of state and one week at home working on administrative duties, but today is my first day in action. I've never been so excited to go to work. I'm super pumped and beyond grateful. Again, I thank all you homies. The last 2 years have been a wild ride for me. The last six I've been making progress every week. It's amazing to think of all the light in my life I didn't see, couldn't see and refused to see. Now, I see the light, and let me tell you, it feels good. :)
