League Pass Broadband Questions

I'm thinking about buying League Pass Broadband this year, but I have a couple of questions:

#1. If I want to join a game that is already in progress, do I have to watch live or can I start from the beginning of the game?

#2. If I want to watch a game that is completed, does the list of games where I select to watch show me the final score? I will have little interest in watching the games if I already know the outcomes.

I have never used the League Pass Broadband before so if any of you have and could give me some insight, I would very much appreciate it.

1. Watch live. But you can watch from the beginning later because every game is archive for 48 hours I believe.
2. No, the scores will be shown.

1. I have LP Broadband International, so it may be different, but I can watch from any point in the game. Last season I started watching a lot of games an hour after tip, and fast forwarded through the commercials. I'd catch up, more or less, by the end. I can also watch all games from the last two seasons (12/13 and 13/14), although this might be because I'm a returning customer.

2. Again, maybe LP International is different, but I have the option of turning the scores off on the console.

In the past you could start watching an in progess game at any point. The problem was that if the game ended and you were only in the 3rd quarter, then the game went into archiving for a while. A while seemed to usually be an hour. I can remember waiting for an hour to see the last ten minutes of game more than once.

There is a show scores option is by default off.

Overall I like have LP Broadband. But a regular DVR on a regular TV is far superior--- it also costs a lot more.

Note I have been using LP Broadband for 5 years-- it is had changes made to it every year. Usually for the better- but not always.

In the settings for the site/app you can turn off the scores (at least I could on my devices for broadband).

The only time I had problems with "archiving" a game I started slightly late is if I tried to fast forward. If I didn't fast forward I could get through the whole game. The archiving thing was crappy though. I wanted to watch games plenty of times after they had just ended (getting home late from work and didn't dvr the game, etc.) and couldn't watch. Hopefully they fixed that issue.

If you are located in Utah all Jazz games are blacked out. So, unless you have a proxy or you live outside of Utah, LPBB won't work. FYI.

When I was in college it was the best. I haven't bought it since, but I got it when I ordered it with my cable. Both came in handy big time. Plus, you can watch other NBA if you're bored.

Is the quality really on par with LP? I might consider this, as I'd like to watch Raps games this year.

this is my first season trying it out, and my preview has been great. they broadcast in great quality, i think it's really dependent on your internet speeds. for those with mass bandwidth, i've read that ballstreams exceeds LP quality. i think they have a preview you can try out though to see for yourself.

Don't you need an invite to purchase the service? How long did it take to get an invite? Are you able to send me an invite?

No they actually did away with member invites, it's all adminnow. Took me like three weeks, but I just read somewhere that their subscribers are down and you could get an invite in one to two days

Pm and I will give you a reference link. It may or not speed the process up.

Ballstreams is way higher quality and it gives you more playback options.

With BS you can watch games right after they are done and don't have to wait for the game to archive.

I got mine in about 5 minutes...Good to go. Just need to confirm that the NBA cancelled my LP Broadband.
