League Pass Question

For those that use League Pass... can you start a game thirty minutes late? Does it work like DVR?

In the past, I have recorded the game on DVR and then started the game after I put the kids to bed. I'm able to fast forward commercials and the half time show and then usually catch up to live action by the 4th quarter. Will this work for League Pass? Or does it have to be live and then the game is posted the next day?

Thanks!

I haven't had it for 2 years but I used to be able to pick it up wherever I wanted or watch it after the fact as well.

They used to be able to do this in the past. Last year it seems like you couldn't do that. I didn't use the online option much because my primary method was on DirecTV so I'm not positive, though. It seems like the couple times I tried you had to start in progress or else wait until the game was over to watch it from the start.

The answer is yes - but I've found it varies some by platforms, such as streaming over FireStick or Apple TV, or satellite like Dish etc etc etc sometimes over firestick it'll glitch and go to the live game action. but after game stream is solid with moving around.

If it is the normal satellite provider you use then yes you can record the games and even setup a season pass to record them. I watch them the same way... saves so much time.

One warning if you setup season pass it will often times record the other teams broadcast (at least on DirectTV) even though it asks what team you are wanting to record for. I'm not enamored with out tv crew, but if it is Boston or Houston then you just have to mute the TV because the homerism and annoyingness is too much. Some non-Jazz broadcasts are really good.

As stated above, platform matters. Seems like FireTV won't let you, but the PS4 will. I gave up on all that and just watch games through remote viewing or on my Stargate Project Streaming Stick. The CIA offers a few courses if anyone is interested.
