I just saw it on news and i had a de ja vu back in the draft we had Alec Burks.

I was like, ****t, that guy was a perfect fit for us when SA drafted Leonard. Then everyone said wowww Burks, he is cool he has bigger upside, scorer winner all that.... so I tried to think positively, and i should admit i wouldnt have thought he would become a finals mvp in 2-3 years, but we missed the big fish up there. I cant imagine what Trey,Hayward,Leonard,Favors,Kanter line up would do in a few years, plus Dante boy on the roster.

However if we look from different angle, i doubt our lame ex coach would give Leonard enough time to play thus he wouldnt even get close to his current performance.

To sum up, butterfly effect 1 was great but 2 sucks.
 
We should keep in mind, Leonard basically had to play 3 good games in a row in order to take that MVP. We're kidding ourselves if we think Burks couldn't play just 3 good games in a row - especially considering he did hang 30 on the Heat early in the year.

But forget any of that, the bottom line there is that we are comparing apples and oranges. Kawhi has been getting consistent minutes and playing with Parker, Duncan, Ginobili and playing for Popovich for the last three years. Burks has been sitting on the bench for 2 of 3 years and playing for Tyrone Corbin and with the likes of John Lucas III, Josh Howard, Raja Bell and Dick Jefferson.

To be fair it's more like Millsap, Jefferson, Mo Williams... but that takes nothing away from your point.

Yeap. He is great n all but Burks is a great / will be a great player too. And Leonard's MVP is just a trophy given to the team. This MVP says "you guys have played such a team game that we had hard time picking a sharp MVP profile."
