I see what Quin is doing here. The chances that the Kings, who are resting a significant number of players tonight, beat the Clippers in LA is very slim. By playing the bench, Quin is sending a clear message to his players that homecourt doesn't matter and that they can win no matter their seeding. He's also giving a run to a bunch of players who have contributed this year but likely won't see much time in the playoffs. If they pull it off, it adds to their confidence. If they don't, it's still a learning experience that makes those players (especially Dante) want to work harder this summer.
