Let's go all I and trade our 2 first rounds picks for Westbrook!

OKC was meant to be Westbrook's team. His character has always been stronger than Durant's. He always felt that he was the real dominant team leader in the Thunder. And Durant always felt Westbrook's shadow over his presence. He could never feel like a sole and real leader. Westbrook on the other hand was waiting for this moment. Now he has his P&R P&P guy in Kanter, he has his team from bench to starters, from lockerroom staff to FO in his order, and he is going to stay in OKC. Just my opinion and insight over the situation of Thunder up until the KD trade. Time will show what'll happen.

I think we are a playoff team if Favors and Burks were declared out for the year tomorrow and we didnt even have Simmons . We were 40-42 last year without Hill, Exum, and Johnson. We have youth that will develop. We have Mack and Neto for an entire offseason. Hayward is in a contract year.

The West is weaker (more top heavy teams but more teams like us). So yes, I think we are a playoff team if we switched Favors and Burks for Simmons.

Yeah, no way he leaves now that Kanter can take over the offense and finally get the respect he deserves.:rolleyes:

Seriously though, there's 100% chance that he signs with the Lakers, give or take 0%.
 
Guys. . . all we have to do is beat the Warriors in the playoffs and Durant will come to Utah next offseason. The pattern has already been established.

Illegal to guarantee anything at this stage. They can't talk turkey on a new deal until after next season. They can wink-wink-nod-nod their intentions but not commit.

I think this goes without saying, though. The implication is that this kind of thing does happen in some form, fairly frequently. FE, I have no doubt that Utah has some sort of "understanding" with George Hill that if Utah makes the playoffs, he would be interested in re-signing, on a competitive contract. No guarantee of money or anything like that. Only the agreement that if things work out, he would be interested in staying.
 
funny how common sense isn't so common anymore. I am begging you, Mr. Creator of this stupid thread. Please what ever you do, do not reproduce. The last thing that we need is another guy that's walking down the sidewalk making shapes out of the clouds and just looking up at nothing. This is the in the way guy that we need to stop making. Have you ever been driving and you see that car cut across 3 lanes of traffic to get off of the off ramp despite the lives of others? You think to yourself, quit making this guy! Well friends the creator of this thread is also the creator of that, cut across 3 lanes of traffic, double park my car to get out and stare up at the sky, answer the phone and say, "uuhhhhh, uhhhhh" before saying anything else kind of guy that we don't need.
