I can't believe the Jazz won. Hayward played like one of the Keystone cops and then he switch to all-star mode. Jazz were fortunate to win the game but hey it is a win and a road one at that. Nice way to start the road trip.
 
Hayward really took over there.

few bonehead turn overs but he def put the team on his back with some crazy shots there.
 
We really had no business winning that one, but the defense finally showed up late in the 4th and Maxward took over.

Yeah, keep in mind though that Snyder is still installing the offense as well as defensive habits. We're 3-4 and second in the NW Division, despite having one of the toughest schedules in the league thus far. And we're the second youngest team in the league.

There's an insane amount of potential here. Exum looks like the real deal. Hayward, Favors, and Burks are locked up. And Burke may still find a way to, you know, be a professional basketball player.
 
Getting a win on the road is tough for a young team. Are the Pistons bad? Yes. Was it still a big win? Absolutely.
 
Great several clutch shots by Hayward.

The contest by Dante on the 3 of the penultimate possession for Detroit was great! His length is for real! Also worth pointing out - first game when he finishes the game instead of Burke.
 
Exum being a calming factor out though, I think it's really good for him to have Hayward being able to take a lot of the ball handling so it's not always on him.

9pts, 3reb, 5 assists, 1 steal.

+11 also, he was a key factor in coming back from 11.
 
So from now on I hope Burke plays decent but always gets into foul trouble. That way we can maximize his trade value, not have him cut minutes away from Exum, and have a better shot at winning games.

Admitting that he is inadequate on defense is already more than enough....sometimes you should highlight Burke and Burks defensive shortages too...otherwise you sound biased!

Where you found those stats professor?

Right. I've never talked about those players shortcomings in any area. Not once.
