I actually really like hockey too (or I should say, I like the idea of playing it). If I lived in the North I would have definitely have given it a go as a kid, but just don't live in the climate for it. But because I have never really played it, I never could really get into watching it.

Its quite a great sport, honestly. I am literally the only kid out of all of my friends who never played on any sort of hockey team, growing up in Edmonton.

My recommendation to you is to catch a few playoff games every year. Thats how I got into basketball. Try and catch a few game 6s or 7s every year in hockey, and you'll slowly get a grasp of the rules, and what not.

TRUE STORY: I met some famous hockey dude once (don't recall the name) and everyone was asking for his autograph. He was sitting next to me at the bar. I asked who he was and he acted flabbergasted .. that I didn't know. He asked if I ever watch hockey. I said no. He asked why. I said it's a sissy sport (expecting to get pummeled). He laughed. A sissy sport? I said, yeah, you guys 'skate.' Only sissies skate, I said. He was rolling .. because he knew he could just splatter my brains across the bar.

Then I suggested perhaps they widen the goal for more scoring .................. DON'T EVER SUGGEST THAT to a hockey player ... :(

Oh I have no doubt that Kentucky would pummel us this year. Still doesn't take away from the fact that K > Cal.

I think Duke could beat UK on a neutral court. They have the big men to match UK physically and the shooting to stretch their defense. MKG might smash y'all because of lack of SF though.

There is so much wrong with this post........I seriously do not know where to start.

No doubt they could. That's the beauty of the NCAA tourney, no? Duke fans are proud and rightfully so .. to have a somewhat 'down' year and still be in the hunt ..

Been a Jazz fan as long as I can remember, and it's borderline unhealthy.

Dad was a 3-time All-WAC team member while playing at BYU, so my loyalty will always be stronger with BYU instead of the Utes. Hated BYU academic rules, I understand why people like it, but it wasn't for me. I still love the sports program. Proud Utah grad and root for the Utes anytime they're not playing BYU.

I make fun of any and all Yewt and Zoobie callers. I have a love/hate relationship with the BYU/Utah football rivalry, and can't stand 90% of my Utah and BYU football fan friends when rivalry week arrives. Both programs wouldn't be where they are if it wasn't for each other.

The argument is even more boring than the sport itself. You are safe.
