List of coaches Corbin is better than.

What drives me CRAZY is when armchair fans question a HIGHLY paid coach and, for example, substitution patterns. You think there just MAY be a ****ing chance that they guy is smarter than you? Just maybe??

Ever stop to think that sometimes a genius at work doesn't at first seem a little nuts? Think Einstein, Edison, Tesla, and that lady that invented post-it notes didn't get a few laughs at first?

Just watch the genius at work. Right now it may seem illogical, but it will come together and we'll get to see the finished product soon enough.

This is franklin's schtick. Not yours.
 
Ty is not a bad coach. He just hasn't grow a pair yet that is all. And he cares too much about whether if the cams capturing him with his tie tyed up neat n all.

I think Ty deserves a chance to show what he can do with a different roster set up. Jefferson has been forced upon in him like the man rape that goes on in pkm's basement.

Don't buy it. Forced upon him? He doesn't have to play Big Al, and Sap together. He doesn't have to give Marvin, and Earl major minutes.
Stop making excuses for him. If he can't handle the job now, how would he ever have the balls or brains to take us all the way?
The job won't get easier.

Every post you make is so refreshing. Telling us all how much smarter you are than the entire profession who hires pieces of **** that can't substitute like your genius would, and intentionally lose billionaires a bunch of money. Srsly, why don't these professionals get everything you do?

If Marvin could ever touch the ball he may become more effective. I don't understand why Marvin is so reserved most of the time. I like his game when given a chance to show it. Also, you don't usually see him getting beat on defense.

How do you know that management hasn't told him they want him to play Millsap and Jefferson so they can shop them?

Wow, how easy it to just say these things. Here's a litmus test, imagine Corbin taking any of these coaches place (or former place), do you honestly see the team having an equal or better record?

Doc? No. SVG? Corbin would never have gotten that Orlando team to the finals. Drew? Do you think Corbin would have a similarly mediocre Hawks roster with as many wins as they do now? No.

Even if we give you that he's a better coach than all of those guys, congrats, he is officially only the 24th worst coach in the NBA. If you can give me a list of 15-16 active coaches that he's better than, I'll concede. But you can't.

Edit: I am so confused, is Franklin just a provocateur? Or are these his real opinions?
 
So bascially Corbin is NOT in the bottom 25th percentile of NBA head coaches. Cool. I guess we have a keeper.
 
I liked Corbin a lot more those couple of games where both Mo and Kanter were out. The tighter rotations were better; they seemed to give him a better feel for rhythm of the game and his pieces.

I've bitched hard, and he's deserved plenty of that, but I've long said I'll re-evaluate when Al is gone.
 
I personally like that D'Antoni has underacheived everywhere when he made the Suns relevant and rescued a completely decimated Knicks team.
 
SVG clearly underachieved a couple of Dwight teams? Yeah, getting that talentless fart a max contract and successfully building a good team around said talentless fart is clearly a black mark.
 
Mike Brown is the worst coach in the NBA that isn't a coach in the NBA. Or maybe he's the best?
