What's new

List of coaches Corbin is better than.

Trolls are frustrating. That's the long and the short of it. And you know everything about it. But good show.

Trolls? LOL that is your comeback? Simply dismissing all of my comments as simply being made to try and provoke a response? Sorry, no dice. Nor do I know whatever else you're talking about.

But sure, continue to feed you Anti-Ty agenda. Any poster who disagrees must be trolling!!

Tell me, does it hurt knowing that a dude who just entered this forum is embarrassing such an 'established poster' across multiple threads on different topics?

Seems to be the case, judging by your responses.

Take care.

Funny to me that you think it's a competition. Good for you, glad you're winning!

You're overthinking this, Doc Rivers may not be on par with Popovich and Phil Jackson when it comes to game planning and in-game adjustments, but at least he knows how to put his best players in the starting lineup. Something our coach still hasn't figured out after 2.5 seasons...

Really? Because for a good chunk of a season, people were calling for Doc's head for not playing Avery Bradley over Ray Allen.

Yet another swing and miss on Jazzfanz tonight.

A thoroughly unfair comment. For the record, I was talking strictly basketball, and NUMBERICA made it personal. I have nothing to compete for, I simply was chipping in on some topics that I felt people were misunderstanding. That is all.

You simply can't be up 2 w/2 minutes remaining in OT and give the opponent's best player a wide-open 3 to flip the game on its ear. Yes, Al should have stepped out but when has he ever done that in his life? He took Favors of the game when he picked up his 5th foul...what was he saving Favors for?

Even when a Ty calls a play that sorta works, it still reflects poorly on him. On the final shot, we ran the same double down-screen to free Foye we normally run (against Chicago it failed because both bigs set soft screens and we had to rely on Millsap flashing to the corner), and this time Al actually set a great screen to free him - but Foye (as if his man was still on his hip) ran toward the ball and away from the hoop instead of settling at the top of the key so we ended up with a 26-foot fallaway 3pt that predictably drew air and nothing else.

If this was November or December you say, maybe next time champ. But this is late February in his 3rd year coaching. If Ty's all that and a bag of chips these little mistakes shouldn't still be occuring at the frequency they do.

Ty's big shake up move was putting Earl in the starting rotation? laughable, and he got torched by Bradley. Ty did do some things right tonight
with rotation minutes. Got to love how he leaves Burks in, and lets Carroll finish. As per norm a little good, and a little bad.

You were clearly wrong about Doc Rivers! He made some really smart changes. Double teaming Jefferson, calling a zone when we were hot, fouling at the end of the game. Rivers is obviously better than Corbin. Starting Watson in front of Tinsley was laughable.

Why does he have a losing record, in the East, with a squad much better than what Ty has to work with?

Way to pout about someone disagreeing with your angry cocksure posting style. Tell me, are you still throwing a temper tantrum over the trade deadline?

My idea of an agreeable person is a person who agrees with me - Benjamin Disraeli

Time to revive this thread and provide revisions. Here is my list of coaches Corbin is better than (see below):

Besides being right, no. I've taken to bleary-eyed optimism to a degrading situation. Stealth tank or bust. If Al plays less than 40 minutes a game the rest of the way, the Jazz can say goodbye to their chances at a top-ten pick and say hello to Corbin for the foreseeable future. But last night was encouraging.

Good time to bump now that Dox Howard is trying to **** on the team that made him relevant. Classy guy.

He was pretty relevant in Orlando... And the celts are rebuilding, what makes you think he is still a good fit for a rebuilding team? Maybe it is in the best interest of both parties to move on.

I don't know a ton about the situation, but he seemed like a damn good coach for the past six years or so, and a decent one before that.
