LIVE DRAFT - COMMENTS --- Agony, Ecstasy, etc.

While he wasn't my preferred pick, is it too much to ask to see this guy play at least his rookie season? (yes, yes, I know on this site it's way to f'ing much to ask for)

Not to mention I remember all the ooh's and ahh's when the Jazz drafted Kirk Snyder (including from me). We all saw how that turned out.

My wife who knows nothing about basketball just said this about Gordon:

"He looks like he should be bagging groceries at Harmons."

There is just no way this isn't the prelude to another move. We could have traded down and gotten Hayward. Somebody above us decided they had to have him and we'll wind up with two selections in this round. Henry and somebody. (I don't actually believe this, but I'm desperate.)

Can we please fire KOC now and get Barkley? Atleast we can get comedy gold while this franchise goes up in enormous flames.

Chad Ford's comment about our pick:

I like this pick for the Jazz. He's got a lot more upside than people think. He's a pretty good athlete, very versatile and tough. The big question for Hayward is what will happen with his jump shot. He shot 44 percent from 3-point range as a freshman and 30 percent as a sophomore. If he shoots 44 percent as a pro, he could be a stud. 30 percent? Could be a bust. A calculated risk for the Jazz.

It basically means that he will be the first one to say that the Jazz is stupid to pass up on Ed Davis, Paul George or even Cole Aldrich a year later........

Ok who else yelled loud enough to alert the neighbors after this? Hayward would have been there at 14 the Jazz should have drafted down if Hayward is the only one they liked. KOC drops the ball..........................................................................................

I now HAVE to believe we made that deal with Sacto people dreamed of where we swapped 1sts and picked up that other pick in the 20's. We're now going to CELEBRATE that Ed Davis fell to us when they select him. And then we're going to get whoever else. This HAS to happen.

Okay, it's been five minutes. All Jazz fans now have to be thrilled with this pick. Gordon is a future all star that will shoot 45% from 3 and play lock-down D.
