Locke’s concerns

Probably overall, yes. And maybe on the wings generally. But among starters I feel less comfortable with Conley switching than I did with Rubio, and I feel less comfortable with anyone switching onto a center than I did with Favors.

One of the great mysteries in the league is Rubio's reputation for great defense. He has good size for a pg, I guess, but he always seemed to be getting worked by any player with a pulse. Whatever we lose in 3 inches of Ricky defensively will more than be made up for from a point who can actually hit shots.

It never ceases to amaze me how people complain about FREE content.

How would you mother****ers survive during the radio era when you had less options and couldnt EASILY SKIP THE COMMERCIALS YOU LOVE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT.

17/18 rubio were a good defensive pg (even if in certain matchups he suffered some), but last season rubio really had problems to staying in front of other teams pgs, and/or leading them to gobert help d (and blocks)

Completely agree. His D was quite an eye opener and not in a good way. I feel a little the same way about his passing.

He was much better passing as the play grew more disorganized, which is why he did better in Minny and will do OK in Phoenix. I just never understood how he seemed unable to throw a freaking lob to Rudy. I think I could throw a lob to Rudy, Exum seems pretty good at it.

Hope you're not as impatient if Conley has trouble with it. He doesn't have any good history in Memphis with this.

The big guys he played with in Memphis were pick and pop players, not necessarily "throw it to the front of the rim" guys. His floater is top notch, so that would seem to be a strong indication that he has the ability to throw a lob.

I did find this:

This pretty much,

Rubio isnt bad at team defense, but he gets worked one on one.
