Whoa! It's not every day you see a post with a title when that post is just a reply.
Could that be a sign of some kind?
I was showcasing a central, unifying theme in all my "contributions", and the major conclusion of a much-needed political Best Seller.
We can't even begin to address the political issues of our time until we can see what they are, in the simplest of terms.
The UN is a feudalist throwback to the world empire that was Rome, with a thousand little brushfire wars continually being played out to maintain and expand the military power. President Eisenhower warned in his swan song about our country becoming the cash cow for a military-industrial complex. Well, it's gone global with globalization.
The ideal of world peace that pretends to be based on disarming the populace will never have "peace" because the military provisioner corporates will always be expanding their sales somehow. Be it a drone/hall monitor for every citizen, and a biometric lock on every door---- that can be controlled from above to keep you in as easily as to keep a home-invasion gang out---, or a negotiated "balance" of mass destruction weaponry in the control of member "Nations". .. . . The UN is a war machine with an insatiable apetite for human blood and human bondage.

There is already the "American Humane Society" that exploits this sentiment, crassly. 95% of the millions given to the AHC fund fatcat expense accounts and lobbyists pushing the legislative agenda. Folks a PETA have already begun to "expose" this abuse of the animal causes.
The "progressives" of today, being immersed in the success of globalization that has been the result of destroying the American middle class by taking their jobs overseas and building sweatshops for production of cheap goods that can then be imported and sold at huge profit margins to Americans politically willing to live off government deficit spending/generational theft, actually do care for their pets more than they care for people.

1) tl,dnr is the most frequent reaction to any statement sufficiently explicit to be understood as relevant to anything.
