What's new

Longest Thread Ever

Typical 13 hour day followed by girls night out "babysitting" duty. I might get bored enough to read this entire thread.

Franklin, I understand this completely. In fact, it is a close cousin to my life in here generally. Up in the night, while wiffey is at work, watching stuff like Milo and Otis with the kids.

Sorry man.. I would bring beer and help babysit, but I'm mtg some hawt milfs out tonight.

Well, I wouldn't bring beer or help babysit, or go out chasing "hawt trash". I'd be here doing a few hundred posts. Cheaper, less work, and less troublesome. Life at its best.

I like synonym on my toast, sometimes...

I know what you mean. El Numero Uno has a taste for onomatopoeia in my cheers betimes. . . . And no, there is no synonym for "onamatopoeia", it's just another figure of speech.

the word might suggest "tomato" to some, though.

You mean an adolescent?
Teenagers are generally pigs, mini and/or major. Good luck on ever getting them to clean their personal living space. The male of the species does tend to stink: taking a shower is often low on his priority, as is wearing freshly-laundered clothes. The "sniff test" is the preferred method for selecting clothes for the day. If he can stand the stink, it's perfectly clean. Put two males together and they also have strange ritual of "one-upsmanship" as they attempt to gross each other out with emissions from all orifices. Females are generally cleaner, but require much more maintenance and expense. If you have a female teenager, make sure you A) have an extra bathroom for yourself and B) ensure she has her own telephone. Also be prepared to hear the phrases, "I'm so ugly" and "I have nothing to wear" at least three times per week. And be prepared for the mood swings. A young woman who seemed to be perfectly happy when she came home from school, will often be crying uncontrollably in her room five minutes later.

But, yes, teenagers can also be quite hilarious little creatures, especially when around those of the opposite gender. They can be as awkward as a baby giraffe trying to take her first steps. Or at times, just rush forward like a bull in the streets of Pamplona, wrecking havoc wherever they run.

yah, well, I've learned not to call my wife a teenager, regardless of the behavior.

Larry H. Miller (1944–2009) was an American evolutionary basketballogist who wrote 630 articles and created the Miller Metric in his native Utahn language. Not many people have heard of him today, because he had a major problem with Darwiniacs, and to get around this he proposed a new basketball theory, which challenged the evolutionary orthodoxy of his contemporary team owners.

The problem

In an extraordinary book, The New Evolution: Basketboogenesis, Miller showed that there was no evidence that any major ball club from any of the North American sports had evolved from or into any other type. Each team won their championships on their own model, and not a single one had copied the success of those before it. He wrote, ‘When we examine a series of fossil championships of any age we may pick out one and say with confidence “This is Bird”—or a Belichick, or a Giants, or an Popovich, or any other type of ball club as the case may be.’ This is because all these fossils look so much like their living counterparts today. Bird-Pierce, Montana-Young... He pointed out that none of today’s definitions of the major groups of ball clubs needs to be altered to include the fossils, and he said, ‘t naturally follows that throughout the fossil record these major groups have remained essentially unchanged … the interrelationships between them likewise have remained unchanged.’

He even said, ‘Thus so far as concerns the major groups of clubs, the creationists seem to have the better of the argument. There is not the slightest evidence that any one of the major groups arose from any other.’ Therefore, the only logical conclusion from this body of work is to remain consistently Jazz basketball and never waver the course...never fire a coach...never remove ourselves from low post dominant offenses. We cannot evolve into any of the other championship models. This is and forever will remain true.

But you have to admit, he is a pretty good local booster, doing stuff like taking a bit role in "The RM".

Stubborn loyalty to any Status Quo is cultivated in Utah culture in many many ways, and nothing is ever going to change. Mormons will always be party poopers, and Non-Mormons will always be open members of the endlessly-suffering minority, who all know how to think for themselves.

And I'm glad there will always be cute, sweet seventeen babes waving from the floats on the 24th of July.

babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe...

Hi.

would you mumble something about postcount padding if I tried to answer every cry for help in here????

Spending all my nights
All my money going out on the town
Doing anything just to get you off of my mind
But when the morning comes
I'm right back where I started again
Trying to forget you is just a waste of time

Babe come back, any kind of fool could see
There was something in everything about you
Babe come back, you can blame it all on me
I was wrong, and I just can't live without you

not your fault. My wife says I have to work, too.

Nope. I'm not that smart. I thought we had established that...

I was hoping my insanity had found root already. . . . uh. . .. i . . . . uh. . . . how was that?? ? ?

you really don't see the cosmic significance of insanity, do you?

darned if I know the difference, either.

PKM, people aren't always talking to you. Or about you.

maybe most people don't, but in here PKM is the ultimate objective. . . . the destiny, so to speak, the iconic picture of the future. . . . . and I'm always gonna be talking about him. . . . .
