I'm not much of an Atlas for carrying the world on my shoulders, but I don't shrug much either. . . . which reminds me of an Ambrose Bierce quote:

GUILLOTINE, n. A machine which makes a Frenchman shrug his shoulders with good reason.
In his great work on Divergent Lines of Racial Evolution, the learned Professor Brayfugle argues from the prevalence of this gesture —the shrug—among Frenchmen, that they are descended from turtles and it is simply a survival of the habit of retracing the head inside the shell. It is with reluctance that I differ with so eminent an authority, but in my judgment (as more elaborately set forth and enforced in my work entitled Hereditary Emotions—lib. II, c. XI) the shrug is a poor foundation upon which to build so important a theory, for previously to the Revolution the gesture was unknown. I have not a doubt that it is directly referable to the terror inspired by the guillotine during the period of that instrument's activity.

I tried. . But no one would help. Sorry babe.

well, under this circumstance you deserve more than one reply. I'm always good for more than one opinion on any subject no matter how substantiative the subject may be.

B-bye.. hurry back!

I actually wanted to hurry back, but my chores were fairly substantiative. I filled the whole garbage bucket for pickup tomorrow. I'd say if I can do that, filling up this thread is light housekeeping.

Another aspect of my plight in life is the fact that I'm open for business 24/7/52/365/117, and my primary assistant was putting up some new ads. When I have motivated workers, I get out of the way.

maybe I should explain all those numbers. I'm all about the numbers. it's hours, days per week, weeks per year, days per year. . . . just to make sure nothing slips between the cracks. . . . and the 117 more years I intend to go on with this.

I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. It's sunday afternoon, sunday dinner, home teachers, or a basketball game, or a great controversy of eternal immense significance, like whether CT or Colton is actually grown up yet. When I did work like a poor servile underling for a big significant industrial giant, there were signs all over the place which effectively instructed the hopeless serfs about their place in the Corp. :

In the First Place was: "When there is any issue, the boss is right."

In the Second Place was: "If the boss isn't right, you're not going to be given extra credit for trying to tell him so."

However, I am deeply sympathetic with the progressive ideals which generally mistake our world for one where being right makes a difference.

So PKM, what sort of business is it that you run, with the lots of employees who make it earn money while you try to breathe new life into the Jazz and JazzFanz?
