Longest Thread Ever

One of my most favorite times is when I am 100% certain of something and someone presents new thoughts, ideas, or evidence that changes my mind.

Epiphanies and paradigm shifts have become a guilty pleasure. They are too few and far between. Once you embrace it, it becomes an intoxicating experience.. far better than simply 'knowing' something.

No, Scat. I offer myself as proof of the eternal hope available to all mankind. . . . even to beauty queens and babes of the more interesting kinds. . . . .

Jesus might have said "Who among you can add one cubit to his stature by taking thought?" but I don't think he meant "Don't even try" like most religions interpret his words. . ..

taking time to think is what does cure dumbness.

I agree. There are chemical neurotransmitting subtances that feel like what I think most folks get from drugs.

Thinking is not as popular, but it is cheaper.

I did say per day, but I was thinking per person as well. Things go faster with more people. We could be there in a few days. . . . and going on where no thread has gone before. . . .
 
My wife is gonna be home in a few minutes, and I'm gonna have to look like I've been doing my Honeydoos. lol

this is worthy of more comments. Endorphins, I think, is the class of natural substances we make ourselves, which drugs jack up our sensations with. I can see where drugs can cause feedback processes in nature that try to dial down the production of our natural happiness in using our heads.. .. I mean brains. . . .. and really retard us in some ways.

well, I might take some time looking for some actual thoght-provoking material for some of my posts. . . .. but it is also an intellectual challenge on how to make short post interesting, or even relevant for one microsecond in the flow of things here. . . ..

make sure it's more like fun than work. . . .well, try. . . .
 
So I read a research article and before I post the link, answer me this.

It showed that gay males got into more car accidents than straight males, or females.

Why?
