12 is the symbol of "completion" as in "the best days of your life are now done". See what happens when you turn 13? See the point?

Religions have considered 12 be something special for the same reason. 12 "Apostles", 12 signs of the Zodiac, 12 postulates of Marxism, and so on. Everything important has to come in twelves. Like a dozen eggs. And "Cheaper by the Dozen" in terms of the perfect family.

Except I wanted 14, and my wife wanted 16, and we got the difference.

11 is a symbol of crisis. . . .. just go to Coast to Coast any day. . . . er. . . . . night. . . . it's eleven somethings, they'll have their recurrent numerologist lady on to try to talk the people through it. 11-11-11 was supposed to be the end of the world or something. Problem is, it wasn't 11-11-11 on either the Mayan or Chinese calendar, and everybody knows those are the calendars the astrologers should use instead.

I remember on the old board when I had a glorious thread to objectify men. Oh, those were the days my friends...

good old-fashioned idolatry. You should know the purpose of woman's existence is to glorify, not objectify. . . . . lol.

as in, every guy wants a trophy wife, since no other men would envy him for anything else. Not really. Trucks and letter jackets might be flaunted as status, but without the cutest girls in school it's all for naught.

My U8 Girls team just won an exciting soccer game: 3-2!
As coach, I'll take some of the credit. I teach and stress defense quite a bit. And, I actually spent a lot of time planning the rotations and made some adjustments in the final period to protect our lead.

Congratulations to both the coach and the players. Yaaaaaaayyyyyy!!!!!!!

Thanks. It's fun, but also challenging as my daughter doesn't like to pay attention tio me as a coach- or father. But I highly recommend all of you get involved in youth sports if you have children who play. If not as a head coach, then as an assistant, team parent or just help out in practice. It's quality time with your child.

good advice.
