I've been a lifelong nfl fan and during that time, my biggest complaint about the nfl is the implementation of so many new rules geared to help offenses score more points. The Brady tuck rule, illegal contact down field, only being able to tackle someone a specific way.. lack of offensive holding, p.I, or anything, etc. The way the NFL catored to their golden boy peyton after he got his *** handed to him in the superbowl is ridiculous. "Because of the seahawks' defensive dominence, here's a new defensive holding penalty to make the nfl closer to flag football." It's all a ploy to have higher scoring games for fantasy football fans to pay more attention to the games, which equals more $$$. It's destroying the integrity of the game.
Good god, what an amazing mixture of whining and braggadocio.

The NFL has changed rules to benefit the offense, how is that whining? This whole thread has been whining about how the NFL is driving certain individuals away. - But very nice of you to resort to personal attacks.
Sorry, but the whole post came off as "I can't believe how awesome and incredible the Seahawks are that the league would totally conspire to weaken them and their justly deserved glory for the next decade."

As long as the rules apply to both teams I am fine with them catering towards offense. Also them trying to minimize big hits I have no problem with. I don't watch football because I love really big hits, I like the science of the game. Just like I don't judge a movie based on the size of its explosions.
Haven't watched a NFL game all year and really have no desire too so far.

I demand Roger Godell issue a public apology to my ancestors in England for letting the Raiders play a game in London yesterday. They shouldn't be allowed to play games outside of Oakland anymore until they move back to Los Angeles. They are embarrassing. If I could erase one thing from my past it would be ever being a Raider fan.
Yeah I was baffled by this choice. If you are trying to emerge in a new market you want to put on an excellent show.
So many better game options thru the season. Like:
Broncos v Seahawks
Seahawks v. 49ers
Saints v Steelers
49ers v Broncos
Pats v Broncos
Panthers v Bengals
Falcons v Ravens
Saints v Panthers
Pats v Packers
The NFL trying to gain popularity in London is a lost cause. Just give up Rodger.
