Lottery Standings

or have an organization be smart enough to know getting an 8 seed and a predictable steamroll by OKC or SA is not what the fans want or what the team needs.listening to Harpring last night is whats wrong with the Jazz, they think if we make the playoffs then thats what will fill the seats next year and they have donr their best job.they dont go about putting something together that long term could win a championship, its just fool the shheep so they can stay above water.last night was the pentacle of stupidity.if you are trying to put together a championship team ,you lose this game against Golden St.,and play the hell out of the young guys, instead Ty is playing the sick and wounded for a winner take all victory that couldnt be farther from the truth.I dont want a first round exit team,it would be nice to build somthing the right way and start kickin butt in the playoffs instead of yearly piniatas for the teams that know how to put a team together.

we just say the same i just try to be more polite- you're right we should have lose this game . Now we are counting again on Wrs players not ourselves

Like the rest of you, I'm as concerned as hell that we get the GSW pick this year. But, unlike some of you, I'm not that concerned about our own draft pick this year. Reasons:

a) I don't think KOC wants three rookies coming to camp next year; I think he'd rather spread out the picks so that we have a steady infusion of youth and assets to play with as he adds specific pieces to the foundation he's already built.

b) he has the assets right now to make a play in the first round regardless of whether we get either pick. I really think Jefferson can be involved in a trade with Milwaukee or Indiana that will bring back their first-round pick. Harris should have some value, too, considering how he's been playing.

If I were KOC, and I got the GSW pick and DIDN'T GET our pick, then I'd be happy right where I was... shopping now with more care for a trade for Jefferson and/or Harris.

If I were KOC and I got both picks, I'd start working on scenarios that allowed us to trade up in the draft or trade one of those picks for a future (hopefully better) first rounder.

If I were KOC and I got ZERO picks, then the aforementioned Jefferson trades and any trades involving Harris would be pursued a bit more hastily.

Jefferson to Milwaukee for their pick makes some sense now that they lost Bogut and have nothing in the middle. They have a ton of cap space but would still need to send us a small filler back. Milwaukee is not a desirable FA landing spot so they would appreciate Al's services more than most.

I've said this elsewhere, but Mbah a Moute + MIL's first-round pick for Jefferson. I love this.

This is a deep draft, why would you want to trade a pick in this draft for one that is a HUGE question mark down the road? Keep in mind we have needs in this draft. There is also no reason to trade up unless you are getting Davis. There's really little chance to think we could get Davis unless we got extremely lucky with our pick and won the lottery.

Agree with all of that. Besides, even if we ended up with TOO MANY young studs .. they are assets.

I should have been more specific. I'd be interested in deals for, say, our first-round pick for a future pick that could wind up in the top 7 +/-. If nothing astounded me, then I'd keep it and draft a good player.

And, yeah, I think it is always worth trading up if you targeting a specific player. KOC is going to have to be a bit more selective since he already has a solid foundation to build upon.

Jennings + Ellis + Jefferson

Black Hole City?

Wow Looking at the Warriors remaining schedule. It is brutal, All but Minny are playoff teams. They well be lucky to win 2 more the rest of the year. I would love for them to beat Denver tonight though as one of the 2

If I were KOC, I'd dangle a player or a pick to New Jersey and Toronto and ask them to lose at a pace equal to the Warriors from here on out.

Isn't Jefferson one of the top 5 centers in the league? He's in his prime too. I wouldn't just trade him for a pick. I know he's a bit of a ball stopper still, but so is Kanter, and Kanter doesn't look ready yet.

The guy just had 30/11 and 5 blocks on 70% shooting the other night. When Kanter does something close to that, maybe we can say we don't need him.

NJ has shut down Lopez for the rest of the season.

Also, the Kings have been mathmatically eliminated from the playoffs. As of right now, there are only 5 teams that can really ruin our lives. We can afford to have one of those teams slip behind GS, but that's it. After looking at schedules, I'd say we have pretty slim odds of hanging on to that pick. For those of you wanting to avoid depression, I'd advise not looking at schedules for the 5 life ruining teams.

Keep talking. I like the sound of your e-voice.

I like Jeff but I won't call him top shelf just for taking a dump all over Jeremy Tyler. That kid is teh suck. Gritty to come back and finish the game though. Tough guy move. Say what you will about Al, he is so much more easy to root for than Booze was.

Golden State is such a tease. Up at the half.

I know--up by seven at the half. If they could pull this out tonight, it would be huge (move up and beat Denver all at once). I think that if they get two more wins this year, we will get the pick, but who knows; the fricking Pistons and Raptors are peaking right now, the swine.

I know, sadly it kind of throws you off when you see a bottom dweller trying so hard. Stop it Detroit.
