2023 Prediction Contest Winner
OK, we did this last year too. Here's last year's version if you want to check it out.

1 week before the draft, lets see where everybody stands in relation to what prospects you'd love us or hate us to draft... Of course, we assume we don't trade the pick and we stay at 12. We also assume that the following will be gone before we draft at 12: Simmons, Ingram, Brown, Chriss, Bender, Hield, Murray, Dunn.

With that said, lets say we have 3 categories:
-I love it, I'm happy with our draft
-OK with it, could be better, could be worse
-I straight up hate it.

Here are mine:

Thon Maker

OK with it:
Timothe Luwawu
Wade Baldwin

After what happened last year, we should all hate the player we really want. Good chance Jazz draft whoever we most hate.

I haven't really had time to make an informed opinion, nor am I planning to, since I believe this pick gets traded, but I do like Skal, er, I mean I hate him. Really, really hate him.

Well going off of last years thread, this would confirm cappy_smurf's trade prediction.

Probably not rational, but I just can't get excited over drafting another pg or combo guard. Doesn't seem like BPA or position of need. Convince me why I should want him. I have no problem changing my mind, and truthfully I don't know as much about him as I do the others I listed.

IDK. I'm pretty much neutral on every prospect to varying degrees. I actually like Baldwin a decent amount, but bern has him overrated AF.

Reasons to like him: elite defensive length for PG position, can hit spot-up shots, and has decent passing vision.

Reasons to dislike: no handle, bad finisher, varying degrees of defensive effort, terrible off the dribble shot, doesnt play as athletic as numbers suggest.
