Trading Aaron Gordon for Dario Saric is a no-brainer. Gordon can't shoot and Orlando's starting PG can't shoot.

Saric costs ~$8.5MM for the next 3 seasons. Gordon costs ~$5.5MM for next season and he's gonna want a big raise in the summer..

Seriously though we have him signed for cheap $$$ that's what makes him semi-attractive, and he shot a fluke 3 his rookie year teams may be willing to take a chance. Just doesn't seem much WILL to win or improve. Turns the ball over, doesn't post up really, just shoots a poor 3 or pump fakes for a drive to the hoop. He counts $3,364,249 on the book for 2018.

I thought both Burks and Lyles had negative value. Doubt Burks will be with the team next season. And Lyles has been brutally bad this season. Honestly, if we could get any kind of asset for either of them, I'd say do it. It's almost to the point where we're going to have to part with an asset just to offload them.

This is a really bad post. Lyles is one year removed from being a lottery pick. He's averaging 6/4 in 17 minutes a game.

lyles probably still has some value because he still has that "youth/mystery" about him since he is only 21 yrs old (like a junior in college still).

Burks has run his value into the dirt, though he could thrive on a different team.

Offer Lyles, Exum, cash, our #30 pic this year, and their choice of our #25 pick this year or a lottery protected pic next year for their first rounder this year and filler to make the deal work. We should be able to land one of De'Aaron Fox, Markelle Fultz, or Lonzo Ball for our future point guard. They get money and several contributors. And yet his numbers are still better than Exum. His PER is somehow higher and even his pct from three is better. At least Lyles was pretty good at the end of last season. Exum has not had a run of success that has lasted beyond a single game, and even that might be generous.
