Malone was picking with his brains and not his emotions....like most of the media clowns do! Those of us who saw the two Finals we played against the Bulls, know that when Jackson put Pippen on Stockton defensively, we began to struggle on offense, and more than anything else, or at least as much as anything else, bogged us down and cost us probably both finals! Of course, Malone is also being humble, because with out a doubt, HE should be the small forward on that team! That being said, Kareem probably should be there rather than Chamberlain, although in his prime Chamberlain was a much better rebounder and defender, although it's hard to take off the court that "Sky Hook" that Jabbar perfected! (By the way, the ONLY shot that could possibly include the word "unstoppable" in it!)
But with Kareem or Chamberlain, Lebron, Malone, Robertson and Stockton, you have the 5 smartest and most athletic NBA players in the history of the game!
Back to his choice of Pippen. The only thing that scares me with the Heat against the Spurs is if the Heat get smart and put Lebron on Tony Parker to take him out of his game. But even that won't work because, unlike the Jazz, when Pippen took Stockton out of his game, the Spurs have Duncan while we had Ostertag, and that makes a big difference, don't ya think?!!! Stockton would still have gotten the ball to Duncan, and Parker will do the same no matter how much ball pressure is applied!
