Malone in a tux! (Complete HOF Speech)

pretty emotional when he mentioned his mom passed on this exact day 7 years ago, the irony of it, I know how much Shirley meant to him.
 
Seeing all those greats on one stage there at the end... man what a great era that was for the NBA. The likes of which we may not see again.
 
I wasn't sure what to expect from Karl's speech since the man can certainly ramble. He did a wonderful job! What a wonderful honor for a GREAT basketball player.
 
Dude looks really good in that tux. One of the few times I can recall him sounding very humble.
 
Karl Malone was a great player for the Jazz and I am honored that he played here so long. His ONLY knock is that he says whatever is on his mind and can piss some people off. Other than that he was 100% committed to what he was doing and he gave his all. Every player in the league today could learn a think or two from his work ethic! Thanks Karl for all you gave us!
 
Congratz Malone well deserved, I didn't get to watch it only watching the clips on NBA.com now but that may be the first and only time we see him in a tux and like gets said a lot about him, he looks like he could still play.
 
Nice try Karl. We will not forget about the draft day tie even you looked great in that tux.

Congratulations though! He will go down as the most durable superstar the league will ever see, along with Stockton.
 
I thought Karl 's speech was great. I got choked up myself. Karl was humble appreciative and emotional. I really liked his comment about him saying he just tried to play hard. I think that sums up his career. Both Stockton and Malone look like they could still play 10-15 minutes a game. Congrats to Karl and his family. I think it was a great way to finish his career. Oh yea Raspberry go suck an egg.
 
I had a dream about Karl Malone a couple of days ago while on my honeymoon in Mexico. He was dressed like a cowboy with long boots on and sporting Levi cut off shorts. He was at a random gas station in Orem. I remember him buying a green slurpee. I then pulled out my cell phone and took a sneaky picture of him while he walked out of the gas station while other patrons looked at him in awe. After my encounter, I went straight home and made a thread about my experience on jazzfanz and posted his picture only to be ridiculed with trash like TULT, gay, fake, and other stuff that people like UB, GVC, Rasp, and others of that like would say. I woke up in a cold sweat and went and took a pee. The end.

he got off to a rough start, nerves I guess, but I thought Pippen's speech was wonderful. very heartfelt and sincere. and Pippen's youngest son was s scene-stealer!

but maybe Malone's was a little better overall, I don't know.

Larry Bird's comments comparing the two Olympic teams were funny!
