Malone is Super Engaged in working with Favors

Agreed. And +1 for the stealth tank. If the basketball gods were truly kind the Jazz would fire Ty Corbin after they finish with 30 wins and hire Brad Stevens. PKM is going to will this to happen, I have faith.
I predict PKM will have the Jazz draft a UK player next season and trade for Cousins. He'll then invite Calipari, KOC and Lindsey over for a BBQ at his house. Drunk on Gameface's home brew, content that he has achieved all that he can in college basketball after UK's undefeated season, and happy that three of his former recruits are on the team, Calipari will sign a 5-yr deal to coach the Jazz.

For those begging for Malone to work with the Jazz for years this is a sweet day....

and the best thing its for free.

Apparently on Lockes podcast he was busting his ***, working him out like "are you mad at me yet"
I love this...

Hell yeah. This is just great.

I don't see Brad Stevens as being that good of an NBA coach.

I see him being tailor-made for the NBA. Players in the NBA don't HAVE to respect their coaches, and Stevens has always earned his. That ability suits the NBA better. If he was a firebrand that deals with dissent by shouting and flexing his authority (like most NCAA coaches), then it would be a different story.

Don't get me wrong, I think he's a great coach and love him in the college game. However, by going to the NBA he would have to change his whole scheme. I'm just not sure how well he would do. There would be a stiff learning curve. There's really only a couple college coaches that I think could do decent in the NBA, and he's not one of them.

Pretty sure they did it when they drafted Dwill.
Yeah reports are he did go up to Spokane to work with him. Also and this is just me being a dork, when they interviewed Burke's mom she said something like he made himself an NBA jersey and that is similar to DWill in a school assignment saying he will be a NBA player when he grows up (granted lots of kids prolly do the samething).

Lets see, Jazz traded two first round picks to a division rival (Porty) to get Dwill and now do the same thing with Minni. Difference is Dwill was the #3 pick but Burke wears #3 and 3x3=9 which is where the Jazz picked Burke and also was just the same spot as Hayward.... okay that is all my dorkness is showing.

Hopefully not until 2015. We want Derrick to have a solid, but not spectacular season so he can be re-signed to a reasonable deal. Also, so the Jazz can finish around #5 in terms of draft position for 2014.

No we just need to get his extention done this summer so we don't have to worry about how well he plays next year.

I can't wait for every announcer in the NBA, especially our own, to be confused as **** when they talk about Burke and Burks.
