If Bane was such a can't miss prospect, why was he the last player drafted in the first round in that draft?
No one that late is can’t miss… but Bane was pretty obvious as a much better prospect than Doke. He was overlooked for some of the same dumb reason guys get overlooked… a little older and short wingspan.

NAW is the cousin of SGA, who I regard as one of the most underrated PGs around.
Jokic has some brothers… we should sign em up huh?

SGA is awesome. He and Fox are my favorite NBA PGs to follow.

Sometimes these throw-in guys end up being good players. You're right - he seems to be in control and composed and he's making things happen. He needs more playing time. Willie is a beast for New Orleans. He hits the three and is a solid center.
You’re preaching to the choir brother. I mean who’s been better, him or Rudy Gay?
Sometimes I miss the old days when guys like Nissalke would bench superstars like Pistol Pete for playing like **** and give the ham and eggers a go.

Where you're implying it's some sort of insane error that someone picked someone else towards the latter end of the draft. They're all crapshoot draft picks at that point.
It was an insane error, especially since the story is most of the staff was on teh Bane train besides DL.

The Jazz drafted a center who flubbed his standing reach to improve his vertical lmao. It was a massive error, not just in hindsight, but it becomes an even crazier error with hindsight with how good Bane is.
