Marc Gasol over Al Jefferson?

Uhh Marc Gasol is way better than Al Jefferson.

Better TS%, better defender, better rebounder...

Dirk over Millsap on the other hand is a joke.
 
No problem. If we get in the playoffs and the Griz don't, we'll soon forget the AllStar snub. Besides, we all know the Jazz don't have any Stars; coach Ty has said so many times...
 
Garnett didn't get in this year and I don't think Dirk should've either. I wonder about Nash too -- these guys are getting in on past glory rather than current achievement.
 
C'mon Dirk is an All Star for the next couple years based on his performance in last year's playoffs. I could have pictured Al Jeff or Nene along with Marc Gasol, but coaches must be swayed by the Gasol's playoff performance. Either way, we're basically talking about the 12th man here.

At least Duncan isn't in. Parker is well deserved. Nash, it's hard to tell anymore.

My point is that Millsap is outplaying Dirk this season, and it's not even debatable.

Paul Millsap:

MPG: 31.2
PPG: 16.5
FG%: 52.3
RPG: 9.7

Dirk Nowitzki:

MPG: 31.9
PPG: 17.6
FG%: 46.1
RPG: 6.2

Nash is a 15 and 10 player, those are good stats for an upper echelon pg. Nash is having a very good year, and carrying the suns, and is the leader of that team. Also Nash leads the league in assists with 10 a game.

The reality is breaking in to the All Star game requires superior numbers. Perennial all stars don't have to clear the same bar. I love Paul, and he's All Star worthy based on the stats, but he would have to be averaging at least 20/10 to push somebody like Dirk out of his spot.
 
15 and 10 On 57% fg and 45% from 3 at only 38 years young.... Sound like something our team could use?

I'd vote him in too if I were a coach.
