Agrees to re-up with the Griz. One less for the Lakers to grab...
Looking more and more like we're standing pat, which is fine. I'm still dubious regarding us signing Josh Howard. Only if he's recovered fully and has a little better 'tude, as his old skill level would help us. Hoping for the best, but not counting on it!

Lakers had NO chance to grab Gasol anyway. Zero. Zilch. Lakers would have had to do a S&T Gasol, and there would have been NO way Memphis did that. No possible chance that the Lakers would have tried to sign him outright.

Based on how the Lakers got the previous Gasol. I wouldn't have been shocked to have seen a Walton/Blake for Gasol trade.
