Forget gut feelings ... I'm going to our Lottery Mock Draft. Will play it once and then predict the lottery ... here we go ...

1. Bobcats2. Cavs3. Raptors So I have Bobcats taking Anthony Davis. Cavs taking Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Raptors taking Brad Beal. There you go. That's my prediction. Oh, and one other thing, that order screws the Warriors ... who now fall to 8th place with the pick going to the Jazz.
Posted this in another thread but thought maybe you guys could help out here...
That said, can someone find out how often a team slotted 8th-14th has jumped into the top 3? Last year Cleveland did with their pick from the Clips. In 2010, it did not happen. From 2009 and before, I can't find the info needed.
In the past 11 yrs it has happened 3 times. Which oddly enough means it happened 27% of the time
regardless of how many coins are flipped, the chances are always 50%. Each coin flip counts as a separate instance and has no effect on the previous (or next) coin flip.
A better thing to try would be to find one of these: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/4-sided_die (call a number) and if you get that number, that's the chances we have at getting our pick.
--note: since I'm a D&D nerd and happen to have one of these at my desk at work, I tried it. Called a 2, got a 3. Tried it again, called a 4, got a 4! *We're totally getting that pick!*
You never took statistics in school, did you?

My sources are saying that the Jazz and Warriors have broken off negotiations, but it might not be announced until earlier today sometime.
