March Madness Thread

Arkansas, led by their coach, are a bunch of thugs.
Two flagrants when the game was over with an ejection.
No double techs. Kentucky stayed classy.
Their coach did NOTHING to attempt to calm his players.
Seemed to encourage the animal behavior.

And one of their assistants yelling at Monk during warmups... grown man taunting an 18 year old.
Pathetic.

Accidentally posted the vid in another thread.. so dropping it here as well.

I'm cool with USC being in the tourney over Cuse.. I don't get all the hysteria, I'm not all that particular about seedings and **** tho...

Just have noticed USC's become a common enemy from the 'we got jipped crowd'

I'd probably take USC over Cuse on a neutral floor tbh..

It's actually impressive that there is sent complete mayhem after that. Especially the second one. That was basically throwing a punch.

The coach taunting Monk before the game is really classless imo. Those plays, while definitely pretty bad, weren't God awful though. Though I guess for college brute pretty damn bad.

We'll see just how tough Arkansas is in the 1st rd of the tournament vs Seton Hall...

The Pirates are hands down one of the toughest teams in the nation.

Angel Delgado and Desi Rodriguez are ready for war...

The Tournament is officially underway. There's a 5'5 dude in this game who can dunk.

Dr. Jones I have UK winning it all. I had UCLA at first but went and re-watched that game and thought they can take them in the rematch.

I think Fox is gonna score 20 a game and lead the charge.. I was a bit weary because of Monk's recent cold streak but I trust he'll be ready.. This team has real depth for a coach Cal squad.. The likes of Mulder, Hawkins Willis and even Humphries I think are gonna be the x-factor..

I really wanted to push Wichita St thru but they got pretty much the worst draw in the entire bracket, never should've been a 10 in the first place but personnel wise UK is just a bad, bad, matchup..

What other teams would you describe as hard nosed/tough in the tourney? Those are the kinds of teams that I like watching typically, even if they are not the best teams overall.

Well, there's a bunch - these are the teams that have proven to be the most resilient over the course of the seasons so forgive the long list..

That Seton Hall team is one of the toughest tho.led by the nations leading rebounder 6'10" 250lb Angel Delgado from the DR.. He's a monster.

Cincinnati, Villanova, Virginia, Baylor, South Carolina, Gonzaga, Notre Dame, WVU, Florida St., Some might think Arizona is a finesse team but they have a number of tough players, Kansas, Miami, Nevada, Purdue, Creighton, Rhode Island, UNC, Minnesota and I'd say Kentucky and USC even though I'm sure many would disagree..

I'm inclined to say Saint Marys is tough too, they haven't really been tested tho..

Some of those teams are more mentally tough than physically, some have just a few players I think are tough..

This game thats about to tip of next, KSU - Wake Forest is two tough teams especially DJ Johnson and Wes Iwundu on KSU, those are grizzled vets.
