What's new

Mark Cuban's afraid of the witchhunt. he might think he is next target of the witchunt

Absolutely. Just say it though. Way better to say that than your bringing life into the world arguement.

the brining live into world aarguement is MY view.

as in the creation of live should not be taken lightly. as in you must first marry before creation of live. if we as society start taking this lightly, we devalue live. yada yada and so on. so yeah. never said it was not my view

and ths thread is about not being able to express one views and beliefs.

cuban had to apologzie for saying he crosses the street when he sees a black kid in hoody.
thats his honesty, now he needs to pick and choose his world very carefully or risk losing his team.
for now it is racism.
later it is being opposed to gay marriage.

Why would you say such a thing, except to support an (untrue) implication that black kids are more likely to be violent? You don't think telling an untruth about hundreds of millions of people is offensive?

They may not be inherently more likely to be violent but they are more likely to commit violence. Why the rate of violence committed by young black kids is disproportionately high is the discussion our country should be having. There is nothing noble in ignoring the symptoms of social and economic disenfranchisement.

Really though anyone that crosses the street needs to man up. You have to make the decision that the person you are avoiding is an individual not a statistic. If you want to live in a county of greater racial harmony you need only say good evening. Treating people like they are pariah in the place of their birth is never going to end well.

it effect societys view on the social contract.
it effects societies view. on the creation of live.
which as in the bigger picture. it degrades the creation of live even more.

and that in the long run efefct society as a whole.

Don't over think it, Butch. Im asking you again not to. My question is not about society but about you, personally. In the last week (7 days), did you sit in your room depressed because you knew gays were getting married?

i am not petty and think as it in small terms.

i only look at long term big picture damages.

thats how you are supposed to look at things

Please answer the question I am asking you. I've made it as simple as possible to answer. One could say that I've archied the question.

it does not ****ing matter when it affects me.
i think it affects society as a ****ing whole! and that in turn affects memebers of society. i am a member of society so yes it affects me.

when does not ****ing matter.

ofcourse this is just my opinion. you wont see me protesting against gay mariage

I'm not sure why you're getting upset. Take a deep breath. Go push a wall. This will expend the emotional energy you have in you. My question is a simple one. Again, in the last 7 days, have you sat in your room depressed or moody even as a result of gays getting married? It's a very simple and straightforward question, Butchy.

Is your point that as long as the untruth is a popular belief, it's not offensive?
wtf is untruth about crossing the street if you see a black kid in hoody.

the truth is people do that. dont know if cuban personally does it.
but the truth is people cross the street for certain types. whatever there reasoning wether sound or not.

you might deem it offensive.
but should he be punished for it? should he be forced to apologize.

because that's what cuban did, apologize or fight and stand for it, and worse case scenario lose his team.

and seriously bro if statistics say xx% of robberies/mugging happen with a hoody and black kid. you can try and play the odds or just cross the street.

ps. it is not my personal truth : i never cross the street for nobody. i make them cross the street for me

I partially agree, while noting that saying "a young man dressed in a hoodie" suffices to express the level of danger, and the addition of "black" adds nothing to the danger level. There is importance in pointing out the symptoms of economic and social disadvantage are pervasive to every race.

I'm not going to tell anyone who feels unsafe that they need to act as if they do not feel unsafe. I will point out a false bias in their determination.

The the word "black" in that sentence is in any way useful or proper.

Are you saying that people should expect to be able to give offense and suffer no repercussions from it?

Seriously bro, if you're not crossing the street when white kids are in those same hoodies, you're putting yourself at risk, in addition to being offensive.

something like that.
but i am also privacy.
dont think when a man and woman gets married we have to subject them to medical test etc etc. it is reasonable to assume that most straight mariage like maybe 90+ percent will be able to conceive.
on the other hand 100% of gay mariages do not conceive live.

It's reasonable to assume that none of the women over 60 who marry will conceive, and we don't need to do any tests. Yet, I'm sure you'll rationalize some reason for allowing them to marry. Who are you trying to fool here?

Well, what's your opinion on the state recognizing the marriage of 60-year-old women?

AGAIN I do not cross the street.

but there are people who do it. cuban only said that.

IT IS TRUTH PEOPLE CROSS THE STREET FOR BLACK KIDS IN HOODIES.
wether they have good reason or not. IT IS THE TRUTH

cuban spoke the truth and had to apologize for it.
thats my point
people get offended easy, he spoke the truth in a repsectfull way.

need i go on.

cant find a single homosexual couple giving birth so far.

0.0% off all gay mariages conceive live.

does 0.0% OF 60 YEAR OLDS CONCEIVE LIVE?

I will. Many people risked life and limb to help heal our racially divided society. If one is so afraid of all black people that they can not even pass them on a sidewalk then they are way too anemic for me to respect them.
