MAX Hall arrested for shoplifting, busted with cocaine

Getting cocaine at BYU must be a pretty hard task. Props to Max Hall for advanced drug procuring abilities.

Probably not as hard as you might think.

Now getting antidepressants and pain killers, that's probably a prerequisite for enrollment.

Cocaines a helluva drug

I've always kind of thought Max Hall was a complete tool, but the Ute fans who are rejoicing about this are only proving him right.

I don't really care/hold any judgement over him for using drugs. Not my business.

But that BYU shirt in the mugshot is soooooo perfect. It's wonderful.

-Guy gets scholarship given to him for throwing a football
-Guy gets many thousands of dollars for throwing a football for a season (or two?)
-Guy hits rock bottom?

Forgive me for not knowing the details of how he's hit rock bottom. Anyone care to fill me in?

He's had problems with drugs for a long time. I don't know that this is rock bottom, but he has a problem and needs help.

I have a hard time finding too much joy in this considering how this will affect his wife and kids. However, as far as Max Hall the individual goes, my next 10 Christmases just came early. Man oh man. Of all the former BYU players to pull this, he's gotta be #1 on BYU fan's lists as far as most embarrassing possible scenario.

Gotta love ute fans rejoicing over a guy's drug addiction. Speaks volumes.

Yeah, but stealing **** to fund a drug habit is some that can be judged. Kind of makes you a ****ty person.

Nothing like a hate teh Marmans thread to pull NUMB out of hiding.

I don't post, read or even open any BYU threads or well haven't for a few years now. With that said I just wanted to say and all joking/rivalry aside, when I heard this on my way to get lunch on the radio I felt really sad for him and his family. This issue is a real life issue and far surpasses trivial sports slights (real or imagined) and I truly hope this is the rock bottom for him so he can get the help he needs to climb out of this and get his and his family's life back on track.
