I'm guessing that's the case as well. But I would rather rest him a few more days and get him completely ready instead of running the risk of set back or injury something else. I think it's definitely the smart move. All the way ready sounds like he is mostly ready and could play but they don't think they need him against the grizzlies so they will sit him to be extra cautious.

I’m not so sure... I think maybe it was strategy so whoever we played would game plan for Don. If he was okay to go just getting him 10-15 minutes would be helpful to bring him up slowly. Miye ain’t doing much for us out there... I’m more worried about his injury... maybe he aggravated it.All the way ready sounds like he is mostly ready and could play but they don't think they need him against the grizzlies so they will sit him to be extra cautious.

Grizz are reaching on everything... we need to draw some ******** fouls and use the aggressiveness against them... or tighten that **** up.I was worried about how the grizzlies (and how other teams) will guard the Jazz's offensive schemes with playoff physicality. It's clearly bothering and disrupting the flow... especially for bogey. Better hope they man up or this is going to be a short lived playoff run.
If the team plays worse much more often then they play well with 1 player. What would you say?I see.
So when the jazz wing players struggle with Rudy on court it's the jazz wing players fault
When the jazz wing players struggle with favors on court then it's favors fault.
Makes sense.

If he's feeling fine and we're "only" playing Memphis then it's the perfect time to get Donovan some playing time.He felt fine. He even said so after shoot-around. He thought he was playing.
The Jazz surprised everyone and said nope. One day after he wasn't even on the injury report.
They decided to be overly cautious because we're playing Memphis.
That's how I see it. But the Jazz organization obviously doesn't.If he's feeling fine and we're "only" playing Memphis then it's the perfect time to get Donovan some playing time.

I would rather win this game 1 and the series and a championship. Donovan could play today and play Wednesday and every other game of these playoffs. Jazz got cocky.I'm guessing that's the case as well. But I would rather rest him a few more days and get him completely ready instead of running the risk of set back or injury something else. I think it's definitely the smart move.
