Besides straight up stealing the ball, the brooks layup was the best possible outcome there. It gave the Jazz 4 full seconds to tie the game. If they had to foul instead, they’d have been lucky to have 2 seconds with the ball.

No, best realistic possibility is you foul and they make one miss one. Down 2 with 3-4 seconds left and ball at half court.

I think Bogey and Favs were our best players tonight. Conley was decent. But other then them two. No one really played well. Rudy was soft. Clarkson was terrible. Niang was ok. Ingles was passive. O’Neil was a Moron. And Donovan was hurt. That about sums it up.

I’m pissed. Don is either hurt or our training staff is on some ********. If he isn’t hurt hurt I’d have hoped he made enough stink that they let him play. If he doesn’t play game 2 I think he’s hurt hurt. If he does play I think he could have gone tonight and our training staff are as soft as our perimeter defense.

if we need Don badly to put away a 8th seed tired team on our homecourt in game 1 then that doesnt exactly say championship calibre. We should have done much better than this with or without Don. We may still win this series, but to go deep, we need to do MUCH MUCH better.

Conley sucked tonight too BTW, couldnt buy a bucket when needed. And Clarkson is streaky as always. Looking at longterm the Jazz need a real 2nd option something like a Kawhi Leonard type next to Don. We have Don and a bunch of third or 4th options at best

I don’t understand this mentality. The 8th seed isn’t dog meat and we aren’t the 73 win warriors. Memphis took out the Spurs, Warriors, and Jazz all in one week. That’s not something to just take lightly. The 8th seed in the west is probably a top 4 seed in the East. It’s the playoffs, all hands on deck.

Conley could’ve reinjured his hammy. Which is something these idiots need to consider. Resting Mitchell might be great but putting added stress on everyone else might take a toll.
