What's new

McCollum punched Donovan in the gut last night

I saw the play in real-time and wondered what happened, didn't catch the replay though.

Yeah, I saw Donovan get hit in the stomach too. If it's the same play he was to the right of McCollum out near the free-throw line as McCollum drove to the basket.

We are going to have to step up our toughness for the playoffs. You basically have to match the dirtiness of the other team. I like the way Crowder was last night. He had the right idea when he pushed Lillard. When the other team is abusing you you need to try something to throw them off and getting extra physical can work. Draymond Green can be a kook but he throws the other team out of rhythm.

Jazz fans complaining about "dirty" basketball is hilarious.

Y'all watched the same Stockton and Malone I did, right? And Ingles...

CJ uses his offhand as much as anyone else in the league. Refs were quick to call that against Donovan against the Warriors 2 nights ago. I've never seen it called against McCollum. Granted, I only watch Jazz games, so maybe its just against the Jazz, but that arm extends A LOT.

Yeah, he got Donovan pretty good, the ref realized it and called an offensive foul later on in the play as a make up call. Got him pretty good, stopped Donovan in his place. Playoffs aren’t gonna be soft, and Donovan’s gonna be one of the ones getting beat up on the most and getting the least amount of calls.

Every Eenie Meenie thread is trash
Hey Tip, Numb, and Cy -- take note. As you see, I wasn't making this up, as several others saw it. If someone has a video of it, I hope they will post it. I was really shocked when I saw it. But Donovan recovered pretty quickly. I'm sure everyone saw the shot that Lillard gave to Rick above the top of the key. You couldn't miss that. Next time we play these guys we need to give them a taste of their own medicine. It's not being dirty. It's sticking up for yourself. It's like when a bully pushes someone around. Well, if they don't fight back, the bully continues until you confront him. The Jazz need to teach the Blazers a lesson next game and show them that this isn't Hayward's team any longer.
