Margaret Brennan claiming some of the most infamous book burners were all about free speech is so mind-blowingly stupid that she is getting roasted from all sides, but you have to admire the forethought of the CBS producers. It was likely planned that Brennan was going to tie advocacy for freedom of speech to Nazis, and the producers put her in a turtleneck sweater dress to show off the tig ol' bitties to distract from how moronic the words coming from her face were. It was like the CBS producers thought a nice set of sweater puppies would lower the IQ of the room, and there is an argument to be made there.

 
It is an impressive level of stupidity for it to have been elevated to an international audience. The world is laughing at Margaret Brennan and CBS.
