The Hawks won there 7th game in a row tonight......37 assists! Watchable basketball!
Jazz interior defense shut down the Grizzlies inside and won the rebound battle. That's a decent accomplishment against Memphis. Look at Zach Randolph's stats.
I saw a post in a NBA forum:
"This Utah crowd isnt what it used to be.
Damn shame, I remember that place was hostile."
For me this is ridiculous. But i never went to Vivint Smart Home Arena/Energy Solutions/Delta Center..
What do you think, guys?
I'm just curious.
I was thinking the same exact thing - in the third quarter when Utah was picking Memphis apart on both ends the fans were sitting on their hands. And what the **** is with everyone showing up 20 minutes after tip off. Is Salt Lake the new LA?

Glad I bet us to cover. Memphis looks like their age has finally caught up to them.
How did Gobert miss that dunk though?

If you're at the game, it's pretty loud.
They muffle out the crowd sound on TV like never before.
When I go I'm very noisey. Cheering, booing, yelling, clapping , stomping... People look at me like I'm being annoying.
What the hell happened. I mean I haven't seen the doc thrown out or even warned by refs during FTs in 2 seasons.
Shameful
Yes. Burks handling the ball more seems to be helping in the shooting department. However I want to see Trey pass more when he gets in the paint.Trigger Trey is here to stay. that was a resume building performance.. probably for the long haul unless something drastic happens or they really don't like his off the court antics.
I like the offensive sets btw. Quinn seems like one of the better coaches early this season IMO.
There's too many reasons why keeping Trey makes sense, one of them's just how the roster and contracts are structured.. The chief one is still he's still young and improving, and the Jazz aren't in a position to be getting rid of offensive pieces. He's back-up quality worst case scenario, not a bust.
Interesting storyline will be if Trey's increased shooting percentages coincide with Alec handling the ball more, I think so. His AST/TO will suffer, that doesn't matter much if its resulting in W's.
Always had a problem with Trey taking 12 FGA's, it's why I dubbed him Trigger Trey, because for the most part in his 1st 2 seasons he didn't earn that, he shot like he's got the greenlight since day 1. before the game he was at 9.6 attempts per, he had 20 on like 12 attempts, missed some J's late, great game though vs a top-notch opponent/matchup.
Now.. Beat Lebron!!! 5-2 is coming
lol. I had to rewind that play. Locked like he was going to do a finger roll off the backboard, then at the last second he decided to dunk it and lost control of his handle a bit.

Burke has been playing well, but I still think he's better off the bench. Would love to have Mike Conley. Think he'd be a great fit for the Jazz. Then they could bring Trey and Dante in off the bench.
