Memphis is currently getting bent over by Portland even worse than we did. Down 109-85 with 4 min. left.

Ahh, I listed it as a loss after quickly checking scores for tonight. Didn't realize it was still going.

If they ranked NBA teams like they rank college football the Jazz's losses wouldn't look as bad as they did at first.

Wow Memphis even had Gasol, I just assumed he didn't play when I saw the score. Memphis desperately needs a win tomorrow, they should be hungry, Jazz have gotta keep the petal to the metal.

The Blazers have been flat out hot (15-30 from 3 last night). Not sure how long that keeps up but they are clearly better than they were projected to be.

Our top assist guy is at 3.2, that's awful.

But our top turnover guy at 2 is great.

Btw, are these updated stats? I woulda thought Alec was over 3.2 after 8 last night.
 
Memphis' 3 losses have been by 19, 30 and 50 (!) points.

When they're bad - they're very, very bad.
 
Jazz can absolutely win this game. I truly believe that. They just have to show the fire that they are flashing.

He had 3 assist in the other 4 games combined. So he is at 11 for 5 games, 2.2 assist per game.

In the pre season Burks was a starter and he lead the team in assists.

Then the regular season started and he came off the bench as more of a designated scorer and didn't get many assists

Then last night he started the 2 half with the starters and played more minutes with the starters and had 8 assists.

I don't know if it's just coincidence or if Burks focuses more on passing the ball when he starts vs coming off the bench
 
Should be an interesting game as both teams have struggled against their better competition. I expect a pretty ugly, low scoring game.

I'll double check, but those were the stats on NBA.com last night at about 11pm.
