"I would welcome a HC job".. in LA? or some NBA team ? Unclear! But since he was asked about the Jazz, I'd say he meant coaching an NBA team in general, not particularly the Lakers or Jazz.

Now I re-read and re-thought about his answer, I too think there is that third possibility that he meant it generally, if a head coaching offer comes from the NBA he would love to do it.

I don't want to waste my energy about it anymore though, I even emailed to the website that published the interview, but so far no one has returned to me. So the whole head coach search thing is a wait and see game for us the fans.

I agree that we need to stay calm and consider the possibilities like the supposed actualized Messina experiment turning out a failure, or another man with similar qualifications from Europe turns out to be the coach of the Jazz after some decent scouting performed by the Jazz people.

World of basketball is not that small to find talent, if talent is the thing that will shape our valuable gems into fine diamonds.
