What's new

Mike James

Yes please. Only 4 years removed from 20 ppg. Vet. Better than Gaines.

and 1 yr removed from playing 45 total minutes in an entire season.

just saying, what a guy could do 4 years ago is pretty irrelevant if he can't play today. that might or might not be the case, but his 2006 stats are completely pointless.

Harold "The show" Arceneaux. j/k

I always thought he'd get a chance, but being a tweener, a chucker and all, I guess he didn't.

.

when we can sign a 34-yr old Bell who played only as much last season, I dont see the big risk in signing this guy up as long as he checks out fine physically. He will be playing just 10+ mins behind Deron. After all in 2008-2009 , he started in 50 out of 61 games and averaged 10 pts, 4 assists and shot 37% from downtown. He is a CAREER 38% shooter from downtown. He is probably overqualified for being the Jazz backup PG that way, considering the
great tradition of Jazz backup PG shooters like McLeod, Brown, Palacio and Price.

in this link, I found this interesting

SLAM: THE WIZARDS AND YOU PARTED WAYS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SEASON; WHY DIDN’T YOU TRY TO LAND SOMEWHERE ELSE?

MJ: It was tough this year. It was a tough situation. There was teams that wanted to sign me. I was talking to Cleveland, I was talking to Miami. Miami just went through the thing with Rafer, and you know, they was like they didn’t want no problems. They didn’t know if I was going to come in angry. There was so many situations, Utah wanted me, Cleveland—all the teams wanted me, but nobody made a decision. So I stayed home, just staying working out everyday, staying ready until the 14th and once the 14th came I was like I’m on vacation now. I can’t cry over spilled milk. I can’t get angry because I had an unsuccessful year this year. I just gotta go back into the lab and figure out a different game plan, a different approach and come back and work at it next year.

I did'nt remember reading the Jazz wanting him last year. Maybe they had some casual talk with his agent.

Don't you diss Palacio.
