Miller back to Utah? david west is available!!

https://sports.yahoo.com/nba

it has been reported by yahoo sports that portland is trying to trade andre miller, i would trade price + fes for miller to solidy the backup pg position

also new orleans is trading david west since he can opt his contract, they dont want to lose him for nothing. I think jazz should trade undersized Sap for West.

Solidify the backup PG position? Watson has actually played pretty well.
But I'm for any trade that results in Utah getting rid of Fail, Chucker, Illson or Klinko.

I know I may be the minority, but I would do Millsap for West. West spreads the floor and a little better shooter. Millsap grabs boards, is a lot tougher, and has a nice jumper of his own. But I think West and AJ compliment each other a little better.

not a bad idea, just depending on how much he wants next year. ANd how old is he? Would we really want to trade in Millsap for a 30 yea (im guessing on that)r?

I'd trade CJ for a someone who doesn't shoot airballs on a consistent basis. This goes for AK as well. It's one thing to airball a tough shot, but airballin wide open jumpers. F'n ridiculous.

It is debatable that West is better than Millsap and he wants a big contract. No thanks. As far as Miller goes, we already have a point guard.

NOT; Andre's too inconsistant, and Millsap still has upside, while West does not.
Looking at what's unfolded this season, I have to think the Jazz could have offered the Magic CJ+Memo for Gortat well before Gortat went to Phoenix, which the Magic might have taken. I honestly think in time Hayward and Evans will prove to be better NBA players than CJ and Kirilenko. Gortat just killed us down in the paint last night...

WEst is a lot better shooter than Paul. In fact, he might have the best stroke and touch along with Dirk among PFs. He is a smart defender, above average rebounder but boxes out well, he knows how to play efficient defense. I think, Millsap has a great future ahead of him, he has a big upside and is younger. David West is a top10 bigmen in his position IMO and if the Jazz had had a chance to get him by trading Boozer at a time, I would have loved to see them do it, but I cannot think of having him in Jazz' longterm plans, while having a guy like Paul in rebuilding period is reasonable.
