He's come into the season with yet more skills, fitness, and intensity. This happens every year. That is all.
I agree; he's had great runs before and then faded. He started off hot last season (was in the 20-10 range with a high FG%) and then went into a slump and played himself out of the all-star game. Maybe the dramatic improvement will be to keep it going for longer. Millsap will be a long-shot to make the all-star team, though; there are a lot of great PF's in the western conference. He just won't have the eye-popping stats of others: 17-8 is very good, but can you honestly say Paul is better or more deserving than Griffin, Love and Aldridge?Millsap had similar runs like this last year. He is great at getting himself in a zone where he seemingly can't miss anything. It seems like this year he had a couple of more moves, but not any dramatic improvements like last year.
