Next time you can offer proper rebuttals as opposed to seemingly being offended by me talking about "the Millsap-apologism of the Jazzfanz community", and inferring that I am unintelligent, and a moron.
My inferences are far more reasonable than what you've inferred from Millsap's comments and play. I've offered more in this thread than you have in your entire time on Jazzfanz.

You have yet to address your (loose) insistence on using 36per minute ratings and true shooting as a sign that he isn't playing poorly this month, when all of us with eyes would gladly beg to differ.
1. You've yet to provide any argument/evidence that he's playing poorly. None (well, aside from implying that drawing fouls isn't valuable). You apparently see only what you want to see.

2. What insistence? I was only pointing out that he was still producing, even while dealing with injuries.

You then didn't bother answering my questions about Millsaps loyalty to the Jazz, nor did you really give a solid rebuttal regarding his lack of desire to cheer on his teammates (Both on the bench AND during interviews).
Why should I respond to baseless assertions and other fabrications? When he was brought off the bench last season, he continued to work and play hard. When he hasn't gotten crunch time minutes, he's continued to produce.

He's a pouter, and values his league reputation more than his team. Through and through.
Hard-hitting analysis. Shocking.

He is not talented enough to be a starter,he is undersized he can not defend the 4 and he is also to slow to play the 3. He would be a great player, coming from the bench, but as a starter he is not good enough. It´s a shame on Corbin, that we spent 30 minutes per game on a guy like that, If we have AL-Star caliber players like Kanter and Favors behind.

Wait, how can a guy who leads his team in PER and is 20th in the league in that stat, as well as having the same True Shooting Percentage as Dirk Nowitzki not a starter in the NBA?

And there in lies the problem with using only stats to define a player's value.

Right...We should judge a player by positive comments made about teammates and number of towels waved.

It's not a coincidence that Millsap has scored well in both PER/Win shares (which I hate) and (adjusted) +/- (Top ten in adjusted the last two seasons). He's an impact player. Some people just choose to focus on his limitations and weaknesses.

Because the accurate and perfect

test is what should be used.

Stats ? Al gives you 18-10 a night but everyone is complaining about him. Stats can´t show the most interesting things, we need to asses a player. Like I said before, he is undersized he can not defend bigger players, he is to slow he can not defend the 3 and aditionally he has SMALL HANDS he can´t catch the ball, also he is inconsistent as ****....

Al is terribly inefficient. Per game is generally a bad stat.

And of course, you know he's inconsistent how? He's scored between 10-19 points (average is 15.0) 42 times this year. Pretty consistent.

He has been terrible in the clutch this year. He turns the ball over or disappears most of the time. Jefferson is actually a much better player in the clutch
Statistically, none of this is true. None. Good job.

In the last 5 minutes of games within 5 points, here are their per36 averages:

Jefferson

22.7 points
7.8 rebounds
2.1 assists
0.8 steals
0.3 blocks
1.6 TO
.534 TS%

Millsap

20.1 points
9.7 rebounds
1.1 assists
2.1 steals
1.3 blocks
1.1 TO
.576 TS%

Millsap is a journeyman player on a poor team. He will never be a starter on a team that can compete for an NBA title, and none of your stats can change that.

Oh, and how many minutes per game did he play in those playoffs? 32.

How many minutes per game has he averaged since becoming a starter? 32.

Would he get 32 behind Favors and Kanter? Likely not.

Lol you and your nonsense statistics. Tell me, how was Millsap in the clutch tonight?

This thread makes me embarrassed to be a Jazz fan.

If this makes you embarrassed to be a Jazz fan.... Grow a pair. People aren't always going to agree. You seem to have some sort of love affair with Paul. I like Paul too, but we shouldn't be pretending he has been giving us 100% this year on the court. He hasn't.
