Milwaukee ****s vs Utah **** @ Energy Solutions Arena

Last night was a good night for the Jazz with us winning and the Tankers, Rockets, Blazers adn Grizzlies losing.

Friday is shapping up that way as well. The Bulls come to town on a back to back. Rockets v. Blazers and the Tankers v. Grizzlies. Then the Clips are at the Heat.

Hopefully Chicago beats the Nuggets tonight.

Some thoughts from watching the game.

-Favors is a beast. What a defensive performance. His passing is coming along too. 11 boards is where he needs to be.
-Kanter we love you. Haters are gonna hate, but we've seen through the smoke all along. Corbin has been jerking him around all year. That's
not good coaching.
-Sap was so much fun to watch play with the young guns. I think a lot of us would be ok if we pay up, go with Sap, and let Big Al go.
-Carroll was a factor in that 1st half run. His energy was contagious. I love his game.
-Marvin ****ing Williams. Did you notice him much? ya me neither. the guy is a waste of space. ive been saying it for months now.
Get him out of the starting line up. Make him earn back his minutes.

Great game.

I especially liked the part at the beginning where the starters dug us into a 10+ point hole and then the bench came in and closed the gap. For like the 12th time this season.

And then he played the starters more.

kanter is a beast and he deserves 32 minutes at center and jefferscuk 16.
sap is stunted by playing with big al.
marvin is unnoticable because 99% of his playing time is shared with chuckers foye and jefferson. and he does not make mistakes so he becomes "invisible"

The bench outplays the other team's bench. Could the bench (who has been playing for extend minutes) outplay the opposing team's starters (who are just coming in the game off rest) on a consistent basis? Maybe, but I don't think Corbin has quite that much trust in the bench as a whole to get it done. Sap has shown the ability to be very clutch and play well at the end of games, same with Jefferson. I agree that Kanter/Favors need to play deeper into the 2nd and 4th quarters, but it's kind of unrealistic to hope that Kanter and Favors finish out 2nd and 4th quarters over Jefferson/Sap.

And as of today, I haven't sensed any lack of motivation for the young players. If anything, I see them getting hungrier, gaining more confidence, and developing each day. Like I said, that result could possibly be achieved through a different approach, but we will never know because we can't go back and test out a different experiment.

You ask in your post "can the bench outplay the opposing teams starters on a consistent basis? Maybe"....... Well i ask you, can our STARTERS outplay the opposing teams starters on a consistent basis?... here is a clue to the answer: watch a first quarter of a jazz game sometime.

Good to see the young guns hungry.

"Jazz players getting in pre-practice work: Enes Kanter, Derrick Favors, DeMarre Carroll, Jeremy Evans and Kevin Murphy *AND Alec Burks.*"
