I get it, I like DMC too, but I am glad he left for a better deal. He was a good guy off the bench and a good guy for the community. That still doesn't make this a bad deal.

Still some confusion on the Dubs' trade exceptions. Agree seems like it would require Iguodala S&T, but they think they created them.

To provide more ammunition for this debate. If this is true, then the Warriors will most likely be a top four team next year, and this trade looks not as good.

No we didn't have to sign somebody to reach the floor. We could have just gave bonuses to the players on the team to meet the min payroll. Or we could have waited to see if something really good came available. My entire point.

So you're saying what I just said prior. Either we take these guys on and the picks or we pay the difference to the guys on the roster.... Either way we are paying. In your scenario, we hope that a better deal presents itself around the deadline(which is not guaranteed) and we pay the roster the difference if that deal doesn't come along or we don't take enough back. In the scenario we took, we get these guys(all on expiring deals), 2 unprotected first round picks in 2014 and 2017, 2 second rounders, and pay these guys instead of spreading the wealth around the roster. Oh and we get our cap space back after the season..... So, yeah, I will take this deal instead of counting on a hail mary at the deadline that might not be available at all.
