I actually like the idea of them together... just tell Dante he is the PG so he doesn't freak out.

Certainly, but Mitchell's potential to be a threat in the pnr just supersedes anything Exum can currently do. I do think they will play well off each other and who is technically the PG is probably trivial. I could also see Exum potentially becoming the better PG because of Mitchell's tendency for bad shot selection.

Agree. But he and Dante seemed to work pretty well together.
Lot of directions DL could go. This year, I see Rubio, Ingles and Hood starting at the 1-3. Mitchell and Dante coming off the bench. Next year?
1/2 - Mitchell, Rubio, Dante would be a great trio as Mitchell and Dante are both combo guards.
2/3 - Can Hood be a 3? Specifically, can he guard SF's? If not, I think he becomes expendable. Or maybe Exum is dangled in a trade to acquire a bigger forward and Hood becomes the starting 2.
I see Ingles as preferably a backup.
I think a lot depends on how much Dante and Hood will ask for or get offered. Dante already said he wants to return, but at a fair price (or something to that effect). But he also wants to start, so let's see what that means. I cold see Rubio and Exum starting as "dual PG's." Just tell Dante that's what Houston and Philly are doing. Mitchell comes off the bench for 2 years backing up both. Then Utah evaluates what they want to do with Rubio.

His handle seems a little better. Exum still seems like a much better passer to me. His rookie year when he played pg with Gobert he assisted him the most of anyone on the team.
Good news is they are both very young and can play together so I'm not worried about it much. They can both switch and guard 1 through 3 pretty well.

Can u imagine what happens when they unwrap Lyles, no refunds Denver but in next years draft we'll do you a solid and package Bolomboy

What is the point of this thread? We have both AND a true PG in Rubio. Figure out how to make them all work.
