Both these players are on similar levels right now, with each one having different strengths.

Yep. I can't believe how many fans have dismissed Exum as if he were a scrub, but overlook all the warts on Mitchell to crown him a superstar already. Both these players are on similar levels right now, with each one having different strengths.
I have not heard anyone saying Udoh is better than Gobert.People are jumping the gun big time with this Udoh outplaying Gobert narrative. Rudy has had to adjust his game in a way that players never know if he's going to go for a block or not. He's also had to adjust to the way the refs are calling fouls more than any other player. Udoh can go just after everything, but he doesn't and never will affect complete defenses in the way Rudy does.
Having said that, I'd have no problem giving him more minutes on nights when he's out there ****ing people up. Getting Rudy more rest would be a good thing, but let's not get carried away with this Udoh > Gobert stuff.

Gobert does need to get back to playing hard and doing the little things he is not. Snyder called him out last game for not blocking out on rebounds. His defense is fine right now and he is getting better on offense.
Mostly he needs to get better at passing on offense since he is getting three players crashing on him in pick and roll situations. Our team also needs to hit those threes when he makes the right pass.
Rudy was great last game. He's looked back to normal. He'd be scoring 20 a game if we had more players on the perimeter that scared teams. He's getting so much attention in his rolls.
Not really what I said... just think they could play well together.
Lots of dumbasses like MVP have judged Dante's rookie year the same as they would DM's rookie year. In reality, when you include last year coming back from an injury and having a leash a foot long, Dante is pretty close to the same point in developing as a kid coming off a year of college.
Anyway, dip **** MVP started really running his mouth once Dante got injured again, just like he did the first time. There's nothing dumber than some jackass who uses an injury as an excuse to say I told you so that he isn't very good.
So Shaun Livingston after injury. Even today seems pretty optimistic. This is gold posted by Twin Towers in 2014.

"Dante Exum - I think this guy is so overrated. I see Shaun Livingston AFTER his injury. I see him as just throwing up bad shots in the paint and not converting. Hasn't proven to be a great playmaker. I see bust written all over this guy."
Mitchell plays best at SG right now. I dont think putting him at PG helps the team. Ingles cant play PF and it would hurt his game. He would go from being a good defender to a bad defender.
Mitchell might become a good PG but thats not his position now and maybe not in the future either.
If he plays well enough to start I would put Ingles on the bench and move Hood to SF. But right now we dont need that. Just make sure he gets his minutes and let him keep playing against guys he can dominate for awhile. He is still young.

I got an infraction today for responding to an insult which had nothing to do with the thread with a statistic.
Now, about Mitchell. I agree with Log's post 100%.

Mitchell obviously has much more potential as a scorer, but as far as where their careers are at right now, they are in a similar place, had they both been healthy. My point is that Exum has never had the opportunity to **** up over and over and over like DM has to start the season, without worrying about being yanked. His career has not yet had a chance to take off like the opportunity he would have had this year.

Same genius who said Embiid could average 15 points if healthyThis is gold posted by Twin Towers in 2014.

I mean it's obvious that DM has the potential to be great. But it's mostly potential at this point. There are more than one way way to skin a cat. You say he NEEDS to start to reach it. Other's say he doesn't. Why?
How do you think he's the best player out there at this point? Way small sample size for the rook who's shooting % is nothing to boast about. 5 t.o.s against L.A. too.
I love DM as much as his mom does but he's not better than Hood Ingles or Rubio. He's getting plenty of run.
